(Santa Clarita, CA) – Scott Wilk, who has yet to announce his candidacy for 38th Assembly District, raised $45,700 in just the first six weeks of the campaign. With over $40,000 raised locally from within the 38th Assembly District and surrounding areas the community has shown it’s support for Scott’s campaign for State Assembly.
“Thanks to friends, family and community members we surpassed the fundraising goal we set for the campaign,” said Wilk. He continued, “This gives us the foundation to go out and campaign for the reforms we need. Sacramento spends too much, taxes too much and is not serious about improving our public schools. I’ll fight for the reforms we need.”
Scott Wilk is a longtime resident of the Santa Clarita Valley. He is a husband, father, a small business owner and Santa Clarita Community College Trustee. The Signal Newspaper has honored Scott multiple times as one of the 51 most influential people in Santa Clarita. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors of the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Foundation and on the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Committee.
