California has the smartest and hardest working people in the world. The diversity and resilience of our state’s workforce has created industries that have changed the world.
The Silicon Valley corridor produces technology that amazes, our agriculture industry is the top food producer in the world, our biotech industry in improving the quality of life for every person and since its inception the film and television industry has entertained and inspired generations.
Despite these industry successes, California has one of the worst business environments in the nation. The Tax Foundation’s Business Tax Index ranks California 49th of 50 states. California has the highest sales tax and second highest income tax.
To get Californians working Scott believes we need to: hold the line on taxes; reduce regulation; improve K-12 education; commitment to workplace development training; and address our crumbling infrastructure.
The Golden State was once the leader in job creation and economic growth. We can do it again because we have some of the smartest and hardest working people in the world.
